In this video, Kevin introduces the T4 and T7-PRO from the LabJack SMC T-Series of programmable logic controllers. The T-Series is LabJack’s 3rd generation of multifunction data acquisition hardware devices.

LabJack’s T4 provides Ethernet and USB capabilities while utilizing the same software API as more advanced models, should you ever need to upgrade in the future. Multiple hardware timers and on-board Lua scripting for programmable standalone intelligence are among the standard features of the T4 as well as four high voltage inputs, eight dedicated digital I/O ports and an additional eight ports that can function as analog or digital.

The T7-Pro provides Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB capabilities for ultimate flexibility to provide solutions for anyone from the newest engineer in the field to tenured test engineers. The T7 features field upgradable firmware, programmable startup defaults, and on-board Lua scripting for programmable standalone intelligence. For porting, the T7 includes 24 analog inputs, two analog outputs and 23 digital input/output ports as well as a built-in temperature sensor.
