Version 6 DIPIPM is designed to provide a compact and highly reliable interface between the microcontroller logic and the inverter output power. The power stage consists of the latest CSTBT IGBTs and free wheel diodes, for low power losses. The high voltage and low voltage integrated circuits provide the microcontroller interface and allow for a single power supply. Built-in protections include power supply under-voltage, as well as short-circuit. To reduce the number of external components, bootstrap diodes and current-limiting resistors are built-in. The linear, analog temperature output does not require any external components for signal conditioning. It is easy to upgrade to Version 6 DIPIPM from Versions 4 or 5, as the packages are compatible. With a full line-up of both 600V and 1200V ratings, it is also easy to find the optimal solution for a wide range of applications.
