Designed specifically to complement TE Connectivity’s Z-PACK 2 mm HM back plane connectors, the UPM design meets IEC 60950 touch-safe requirements by reversing the orientation. The touch safe receptacle is applied to the “hot” side, which is typically the backplane side of the connection.
