Texas Instruments DAC80004 DAC | DigiKey Daily

Texas Instrument’s DAC80004 is an ultra-small, quad output voltage digital to analog converter. This tiny 14 pin VSON or TSSOP device offers true 16 bit performance with excellent linearity of less than 1 LSB integral and differential nonlinearity. To eliminate the chance of unwanted outputs upon startup, the DAC80004 powers up at zero scale or mid-scale, depending on the requirements until it receives a valid code. With a wide power supply range of 2.7 to 5.5 volts, power consumption of 1 milliamp per channel, which reduces to 3 microamps in sleep mode, combined with the small form factor, these are ideal for portable, battery powered applications.
