DigiKey Daily previews VIPerPlus converter from STMicroelectronics. The VIPerPlus converter integrates a high voltage power MOSFET and PWM controller to offer a small, robust, and cost friendly AC to DC converter. It is ideally used in designs with mains level voltage AC input and low voltage DC output. The VIPerPlus converter has frequency jittering to reduce EMI in your design, has breakdown voltages of up to 900 volts, and consumes less than 30 milliwatts at 265 volts.
