Silicon Labs TouchXpress Capacitive Touch Controllers | DigiKey Daily

Silicon Labs’ TouchXpress devices are highly optimized capacitive touch controllers that simplify firmware development to enable easy design of capacitive touch buttons and sliders to replace mechanical buttons and switches. The TouchXpress Controller family supports up to 7 capacitive sensor inputs and features a post-sample touch qualification engine, capacitive proximity sensing input, touch time-out timer all within a highly integrated 3 x 3 mm QFN or 8.65 x 3.9 QSOP package. These controllers are the fastest way to add capacitive sensing since they don’t require firmware, and a simple GUI-based configurator provides capacitive touch sense parameters and profile storage in non-volatile memory.
