The family includes both half-bridge (STSPIN9P1x) and full-bridge (STSPIN9P2x) topologies, offering pin-to-pin compatibility and scalability across different motor types and control strategies. Each device integrates low R_DS(ON) MOSFETs (16 mΩ or 27 mΩ), reducing BOM size and improving thermal performance. Advanced features such as adjustable slew rate, an integrated current sensing amplifier, and embedded regulators make the STSPIN9P devices self-sufficient and efficient.

Protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and open-load detection. The integrated analog front end (AFE) with differential amplifier and comparator enables precise current control via PWM trimming or fixed off-time strategies.
