STMicroelectronics' STLDC08 LED driver step-up controller for LED supply
STMicroelectronics' STLDC08 is an LED driver step-up PWM controller that is optimized to operate with an input voltage ranging from 0.8 V to 3.6 V. The device is able to drive an external N-channel FET which makes it useful for various LED power levels. The 100 mV voltage feedback minimizes the power losses and provides an accurate current control loop. A unique, true PWM dimming control is implemented with a MOSFET connected between the LED string and ground. The IC features low power consumption (3 mA typical) which makes it suitable for power sensitive applications. STLDC08 is available in DFN10 3 mm x 3 mm package.
