A TWA® wet tantalum capacitor has a large capacitance value and a fairly low ESR. One of the key features of this family of devices is that they are available in a large variety of voltages compared to solid tantalums and have better current handling capability. Additionally, TWA® parts are available up to 125V and require less derating than solid tantalums.
