Image of onsemi NCP4318 Family Dual-Channel Synchronous Rectification Controller onsemi’s NCP4318 family is a mixed mode SR controller that uses instantaneous drain voltage and previous dead-time information for LLC resonant converters with minimum external components. The adaptive dead-time control compensates for induced parasitic inductance voltage to maximize SR MOSFET conduction and efficiency. Multi-step turn-off threshold control and SR current inversion detection function prevent inversion current during fast load transient and allow stable SR operation over the entire load range. The V_GATE is adaptively reduced from 10 V to 6 V/5 V to improve light load efficiency.
