QSFP Series Connectors, Cages, and Cable Assemblies

Stewart Connector QSFP-DD cages are constructed from a robust metal alloy, ensuring the secure placement of the QSFP module’s electrical and optical components. Additionally, the cage aids in thermal management, maintains signal integrity, and minimizes interference. The high-speed I/O surface mount card edge connector features 76 gold plated pins and operates at a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, supporting aggregate data rates of 400 Gbps. The QSFP-DD passive copper cable assembly includes eight differential copper pairs, providing four data transmission channels with speeds up to 56 Gbps (PAM4) per channel. It complies with 400G Ethernet and InfiniBand enhanced data rate (EDR) standards. This 400G copper cable assembly is available in wire gauges of 30 AWG and 28 AWG and features low insertion loss and minimal cross talk.
