USB 3.0 Cables

Qualtek Electronics has added SuperSpeed USB 3.0 cables to their product lineup. SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) delivers increased data rates for applications such as external hard drives, HD video devices, high mega-pixel cameras, video capture devices, and multi-channel audio interface devices. USB 3.0 uses a bi-directional data interface that nearly provides ten times the data transfer of USB 2.0. With the increase in USB powered devices and the amount of power they demand, the new 3.0 standard elevates the power available to these devices by up to 80 percent from USB 2.0. One of the greatest benefits of USB 3.0 is simply the ability to be 100 percent backwards compatible with USB 2.0 receptacles.
